On the main page music player, you will find a set featuring a "mega" Playin' in the Band "sandwich" performed by Phil Lesh and Friends last month. The line up includes Bob Weir, Phil Lesh, Mickey Hart, and Bill Kreutzmann. They are joined by Warren Haynes, of Guv't Mule, Allman Brothers Band, Phil Lesh and Friends, and the Dead Reunion Tour, on guitar and vocals, and Ratdog's Jeff Chimenti (I may be wrong here) on keyboards.
It really isn't the same without Jerry, but even now, these guys getting together produces pure magic. The energy is still there, and Haynes' guitar doesn't replace Jerry's, but still seems to fit well with the rest of the band.
The last time I checked, this recording had been removed from Archive.org files due to political content--possibly the Obama message via video at the beginning of the show. I understand that--Archive.org was being fair. I was lucky enough to download the show before it was removed.
The set list includes, besides the songs already added to the music player, "Truckin'," "US Blues," "Help On The Way," "Slipknot," "Touch of Gray," and "Not Fade Away." If requested, I will add any or all of these to the music player.
Enjoy, it is a special moment.
