The Grateful Dead at The Downs of Santa Fe, September 10, 1983--The show didn't start out all that well. Bobby sounded as if he had lost his voice at the very beginning, but a friend assured me that it would get better. It did. Still, the band seemed as if they were rushing everything in the first set, and perhaps they were, because there was a powerful storm threatening.
